Gin enthusiasts are in for a treat as an award-winning distillery teams up with a popular restaurant for a gin-themed tasting menu experience.

Worcester-based Piston Distillery will host the gin tasting menu in partnership with Brockencote Hall Hotel in Kidderminster on the evening of Friday, February 23.

The seven-course menu, which will take diners on a journey of gins, will be served in the hotel's award-winning restaurant, The Chaddesley.

The one-off event, due to start at 7.15pm, will explore the range of Piston Distillery gins on the hotel's menu.

The evening will launch the Forêt Noire gin, a dark fruit medley of cherry, blackcurrant, myrtle, blackberry, raspberry and strawberry, underpinned by the distillery's signature Piston gin.

General manager of the hotel, Jack Hartshorne, said: "We’re well-known for our events at Brockencote and we’re always asked about putting something on for the gin enthusiasts, so we’re delighted to pair up with Piston Distillery for this unique event.

"Piston Distillery gin is a spirit with character and a really popular choice with our guests.

"It’s also a great local company based nearby in Worcester, and that’s something which is hugely important to us as we continue to work with the best suppliers in the area and support great local businesses."

The menu includes rabbit three-ways, venison loin sous vide with an oak gin, and a chocolate fondant served with a blackberry and foret noir gin sorbet.
