"ROMANTICS" who could provide a loving home for Bella the Bulldog are wanted by Dogs Trust Evesham.

Bella, who is described as an older lady, is looking for a family to prove that age is not important when it comes to love.

She’s been described as a sweet dog who loves a fuss and is very affectionate, despite her age she enjoys walks, and all she wants from life is fuss and food.

Worcester News:

Shane Green, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Evesham said: “We all know February 14 is a day to shower those we love with affection, which is just perfect for Bella as she loves attention, in fact, she will soon tell you if she’s not getting enough.

"If you provide her with affection – and food – you’ll be rewarded with Bella’s heart."

Mr Green went on to explain that as an older lady, Bella does have some health issues, but the team at Dogs Trust Evesham are ready and willing to work with anyone interesting in adopting Bella to make sure they get all the information and support they need.

She is not the oldest to be rescued however, that title goes to Sheba and Teddy, who have a combined age of 269 in dog years.

Bella has been described as a very loving dog who has been friendly with everyone she has met while at Dogs Trust, the Evesham team believe she could live with children around secondary school age however she will need to be the only pet in the home.

Bella does have some previous health issues so is looking for a family that can take on a dog with pre-existing medical conditions.

Finding homes for dogs like Bella is all a part of Dogs Trust’s non-destruction policy, who will never put a healthy dog to sleep.

Dogs Trust prides itself on helping people to understand dogs and share that knowledge with the wider public to prevent problem behaviours that can result in relinquishment or abandonment.
