"For a bit of positivity, we have decided as a business, we want to give a small gesture back to each of our customers on Random Act of Kindness Day which this year falls on Saturday the 17th of February.

"We look forward to welcoming lots of locals from the area on the day."

Area manager Emily Waldron added: "Our teams instore thrive on delivering a hands-on, helpful and personalised shopping experience.

"‘Random Act of Kindness Day’ gives the teams a chance to give a little something back to our loyal customers by putting a smile on their face with an unexpected small gift.

"If you’re in town on Saturday pop in and say Hello."

The surprise treats include discounts off the company's footwear selection featuring brands such as Timberland, Josef Seibel and Skechers on its shelves.
