Some road closures will impact Worcester traffic this week, according to National Highways England.

These will be along the M5 in the evening and the early hours of the morning.

If you are set to be travelling along the road in the coming days, it's best to take note of different diversions in place.

One of the road closures is expected to cause moderate delays for motorists with them facing wait times of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Road closures in and around Worcester this week

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place along the M5 is expected to carry on this week.

February 5 at 9pm – March 2 at 6am

Slight delays of less than 10 minutes are expected on the M5 in both directions, junction 7 to junction 8.

A lane will be closed for maintenance works to be carried out.

It’s worth noting that National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

Over the next few days, there is also another road closure for the M5.

February 29 at 9pm - March 1 at 6am

Motorists can expect moderate delays of between 10 and 30 minutes on the M5 northbound, junction 7.

This is due to an exit slip road and lane closure with a diversion via National Highways network.
