A Worcester takeaway has been awarded a brand new food hygiene rating.
Lotus House, a takeaway at 153 London Road, Worcester was given a three-out-of-five score after a recent assessment, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection was carried out on February 20 by food safety officers, who inspect areas for hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety.
Their standards were found to be generally satisfactory.
It means that of Worcester's 102 takeaways with ratings, 63 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
