To mark World Water Day a home heating expert are urging people to minimise water waste by using their boilers and heating systems more efficiently.
Every day three billion litres of water, or 1,200 Olympic swimming pools, go to waste in the UK, which company Alpha are eager to reduce.
The home heating expert's technical manager, Darran Smith, suggests that ensuring optimal pipe insulation, efficient boiler function, and minimising the distance between boiler and outlet could significantly reduce water wastage.
