Worcester drivers face long delays along Bilford Road in the north of the city.
Temporary traffic lights are in use causing up to 15 minute delays.
Drivers on neighbouring Blackpole road are also left frustrated as traffic backs up.
Drivers are reporting delays of about 15 to 20 minutes.
Roadworks are described as "utility asset works" and started on March 25 and are planned to last until May 3.
