A BAKERY in Worcester has been handed a new food hygiene rating.
Colston Bakery, based on Angel Place in Worcester, underwent a food hygiene inspection by the Food Standards Agency on March 18.
The inspection covered a wide range of areas that included ratings for hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.
The retailer was awarded a very good rating for its hygienic food handling, while it received a generally satisfactory rating for cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.
All of these combined meant that it scored an overall food hygiene rating of four stars - one off the highest mark that an establishment can receive.
