Despite opposition from Worcester City Council and after an appeal from developers, the impressive black and white, 16th-century, half-timbered home of J and F Hall ironmongers was demolished in 1962.

Argos moved out in 2021 and long-running plans for a rooftop bar have yet to come to fruition.
