Meanwhile, plans to open a new hospice in Worcester for life-limited children took a major step forward following the appointment of the head nurse for the state-of-the-art unit.
Angela Mercer was to oversee the day-to-day running of the new Acorns Children’s Hospice which was being built in Bath Road.
