A ROAD in the city centre has closed due to a burst water main.
Those travelling on The Butts into Forgate Street have been diverted after a burst water main on Shaw Street.
Severn Trent Water has closed the road while they deal with the burst main which has caused multiple roads to be affected through the city centre.
Those trying to access Sansome Street through The Butts will also be affected by the Shaw Street closure.
According to One Network the road is estimated to open later on tonight (Monday).
Emergency Access will be maintained on the road at all times.
