IT'S amazing seeing Stroud through an old camera lens.
Pictures can transport us back to a bygone era and bring back many memories.
This week there are four old photographs of Stroud and the surrounding district taken with permission from the Facebook group Stroud Area Photographs and Cotswold Picture Postcards.
They reveal an iconic image of The Cross in Stroud which has changed beyond recognition through the years.
There is also an old photograph of Slad Road and the moment the Roman Pavement in Woodchester was uncovered in 1951.
