AN Audi was shot at and rammed as part of a "targeted attack" in the early hours of the morning.

The shocking incident happened at Maypole Fields in Cradley just before 1am on Thursday (May 16).

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation into the incident. They said that no one was injured in the attack, which officers believe was targeted.

The force has also outlined that they "do not underestimate the fear and alarm this will have caused."

A spokesperson for the force said: "We're investigating after shots were fired at a car in Dudley in the early hours of this morning (16 May).

"We were called to a report that an Audi had been shot at and rammed by a Nissan Qashqai at Maypole Fields, Halesowen just before 1am. Damage was caused to the vehicle but fortunately no one was injured.

"We’re currently reviewing CCTV opportunities alongside other enquiries".

"We believe this was a targeted attack, but we do not underestimate the fear and alarm this will have caused.
