MORE hot weather could be on the horizon for Worcester this weekend - along with a dusting of sand.
A 250-mile Saharan Plume is set to approach the UK this weekend and is expected to bring scorching temperatures with it in some areas.
The Met Office has predicted temperatures of up to 21C today (Friday) and across Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, Worcester will average around 66 per cent humidity, and the hot weather has also led to the Met Office predicting a potential tropical thunderstorm at 3pm.
Saharan dust is a mixture of sand and dust from the Sahara, which releases a massive amount of dust into the atmosphere, which travels across oceans and counties.
The telltale sign is that is leaves behind a dusting of sand which is visible on cars and windows.
