PEOPLE can have a go at bowls for free as a club opens its doors to potential players.
An open day will be taking place at Barbourne Bowls Club, Redcliffe Street, off Park Avenue, on Saturday, May 25.
People will be able to have a go at the game for free as well as meet other members as part of the Bowls Big Weekend 2024.
The event starts at 11am.
The club also has an Open Green every Wednesday from 6pm when anyone is welcome to come along and give bowling a try.
Bowling is a summer game but the club keeps its doors open during the winter months for different activities, such as a dominoes league on Wednesday evenings, and something different every Friday from whist and bingo to pub games and quizzes.
