Are you planning to do some jobs around the house this bank holiday weekend? If you are, you might be wondering when you can take your extra rubbish to a tip in Worcester.

As with supermarkets, sometimes the recycling centres in Worcester slightly alter their opening times during a bank holiday weekend.

To help you out, here are the opening times for the Bilford Road (Worcester East) and Hallow Road (Worcester West) recycling centres.

When are the tips in Worcester open this bank holiday?

Whether you want to recycle some cardboard or dispose of bigger items like mattresses, you can make your way to the tip this weekend.

The Bilford Road (Worcester East) recycling centre is open as normal with the opening times being:

  • Monday – Saturday: 8am – 6pm
  • Sunday: 10am – 4pm

The Hallow Road (Worcester West) recycling centre is open on Saturday and Sunday as normal but will be closed on bank holiday Monday.

You can find out about the Bilford Road and Hallow Road recycling centres via the Worcestershire County Council website.

Those visiting will need to apply for an e-Permit before arriving at the tips, with more information available on the website.

It’s important to note that you can drop off your cooking oil and mattresses at both tips but they will not be recycled.
