CITY centre visitors have been indulging in delicious street food dishes at the return of Worcester Dining Club.

The popular free event, organised by Digbeth Dining Club, took over Cathedral Square on Friday afternoon and evening (May 24).

People have been enjoying a wide range of cuisine from Punjabi food, burgers and tacos, to crumble for those with a sweet tooth.

Donna Kaa, who was enjoying some food and drink at the event, said she thinks Digbeth Dining Club events are important for small businesses. She said: “I live here, I work here. This just brings people out which is amazing. The more the merrier right?”

Pete Lloyd, of Street Chef, who has been running the business for around nine years, said he “loves” being out at street food events. The vendor specialises in serving up loaded halloumi fries.

Scrumptious Stacks were at the event, offering a range of crumbles. Business owner Amy Bradley said she was “excited” about the event and hoped “everyone had their Bank Holiday vibe on.”

Award-winning business Urban Spice Box was at the event cooking up a range of Punjabi dishes, and Kiki’s, Fireaway Grill and Big Dogz Tacos, were also cooking up a storm.

For thirsty visitors, Bayley’s of Bromsgrove had a range of tasty craft beers on offer.
