A MAN has been given a suspended sentence for contacting police and using offensive language.
Dean Spencer, of Hollybush Lane, Clifton-on-Teme, breached a criminal behaviour order (CBO) by making the call on Tuesday, February 13.
The 35-year-old called police at Rugeley Trent Valley Station, Colton, without a genuine reason and then used offensive language while he was prohibited from doing so because of the CBO.
The order was placed on Spencer on September 15, 2023.
His guilty plea was taken into account and he was given a 12-week custodial sentence suspended for 12 months.
He must also pay £85 court costs, Worcester Magistrates Court ordered on Tuesday, May 21.
