A REMARKABLE video from a Worcester landlord showing how to create beloved Sesame Street character Elmo using candy floss has gone viral on TikTok.

The video from Worcester landlord Rick Gannon has had four million views on the social media channel and boasts almost 485,000 likes and 1,300 comments.

The video, taken at last weekend's Droitwich Food and Drink Festival, shows a staff member from Cloud Nine candy floss art, which had a stall at the event, creating Elmo's face.

Elmo's face was created using two layers of candy floss- the first white and the second coloured pink.

The top layer of the candy floss is then cut using a knife, revealing some of the inner white layer and creating Elmo's iconic smile.

Two smaller white balls of candy floss were created to form Elmo's eyes, with water vapour used to stick them onto the face.

Another yellow ball was created and shaped by hand to form the nose.

And to complete Elmo, stickers were used for his pupils.

A follow-up video, showing a round-up of Mr Gannon's trip to the Droitwich Food and Drink Festival, was also posted on his Facebook account.

And Cloud Nine's official TikTok account replied to the post, saying: "I was completely joking when I said ‘make me famous’—I say that to everyone.

"Thanks, Rick, I hope you guys had a great time at the food festival."
