A MAN has been charged with murder after the death of a woman in Droitwich on Monday (July 1).
Mohammed Samak, 42, of Chestnut Spinney, Droitwich Spa, is charged with murder after police and ambulance were called out to an address in Chesnut Spinney around 4.10am after reports of an injured woman.
Detective chief inspector Leighton Harding, senior investigating officer, said: “When officers arrived it became clear that the woman’s injuries were not survivable."
The 49-year-old woman was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Samak has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow (July 5).
