ONE of Worcester's oldest hairdressers will be getting a refurbishment fit for 'another century'.
Inspiration Hairdressers, found on College Street in the city centre, has been giving women new styles for almost half a century, but will now be getting a fresh style of its own.
Joanne Russell, Inspiration's owner, said: "We're refurbishing the salon just to update it and make it more modern."
Inspiration first opened in 1979 as Martyn's Place, named after its first owner Martyn Moore, who died earlier this year.

"I did my training with Martyn after I left school," Mrs Russell explained.
Ten years ago, Mrs Russell had the opportunity to purchase the salon. Now, she is planning for the future: "There will be a slight difference in design, with new furniture and new backwash units just to refresh it for another century."
The salon is set to reopen on Tuesday, July 16, but there will be little time to settle in, Mrs Russell Said: "We're fully booked for all of next week.
"I think everyone is excited to be the first person to try out the new salon."
While the City Centre store is closed, the team are still hard at work at their other salon at Crookbarrow View, Worcester.
