The issue of traffic on Barbourne Road will be raised at a county council meeting on Thursday (July 11).
Cllr Matt Jenkins is set to ask Worcestershire highways chief Marc Bayliss what plans the county council has to ease congestion on the busy road.
“Barbourne Road is regularly congested almost every day of the week,” says Cllr Jenkins, in his pre-submitted question.
“The recent events held at Pitchcroft exacerbated this problem leading to vehicles being stuck for up to an hour.
“What plans does the county council have to reduce the congestion on this important route into Worcester?”
