A PIGEON had to be rescued after it got stuck in a tree in Worcester.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 3.26pm on Saturday, July 7 to rescue the animal.
The wood pigeon was stuck in a tree on Droitwich Road.
Upon arrival, the fire crew discovered the pigeon was wrapped in a fishing line.
The Wood Pigeon was released using a 13.5m ladder and flew away uninjured.
