A TEENAGER from Worcester has been sent to prison for drug dealing.
Kai Stretton, of Mulberry Terrace, Worcester, pled guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, namely heroin, at Worcester Crown Court.
The 18-year-old also pled guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, namely cocaine.
Stretton received sentences of 44 months and 32 months for the two crimes respectively, however will serve the two terms currently.
Detective Sergeant Kristoffer Stevens, of the South Worcestershire County Lines Team, said: "We are pleased to get this sentence today and to shut down Stretton's busy drugs line bring crack cocaine and heroin to Worcester.
"Putting these criminals behind bars removes another threat to rid the streets of this most impactful and harmful illegal activity as we continue to actively identify, investigate and prosecute all others attempting to do the same.
"Selling illegal drugs into our communities reaps misery and harm on the lives of some of the most vulnerable in society."
Phones seized by the police showed evidence of Stretton's drug operation selling cocaine and heroin to vulnerable people in the city.
