A CRASH has closed a main road towards a Worcester village.

The A4133 is closed between Holt Heath and Holt Fleet, with motorists asked to take another route to their destination.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Due to a two vehicle collision and oil spillage on the road, part of the A4133 near to the Holt Fleet Hotel is currently closed.

"Officers are currently on scene, along with ambulance crews who are treating people for their injuries.

"The road is likely to be closed for some time, please seek alternative routes where possible."
