A LEAKY shower has resulted in firefighters being called out at night after water flooded electrics in a Worcestershire home.
The incident happened yesterday (August 13) at a home in Droitwich.
Water was leaking through the bottom of the shower on the second floor of the home and into a ceiling light on the ground floor.
As a result, the internal electrics of the home were flooded.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "One crew from Droitwich Fire Station was called at 8pm on August 13 to flooding of internal electrics in Charles Henry Road, Droitwich.
"Water was leaking from a shower tray through ceiling lights to the ground floor.
"Electrics and water were isolated and advice was given.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required."
