A CIGARETTE caused garden furniture to catch fire in a Worcestershire town.
The incident happened yesterday evening (August 20) in Czar Way in Pershore.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "One crew from Pershore Fire Station was called at 8.01pm on August 20 to a fire in the open in Czar Way, Pershore.
"A fire involving garden furniture caused by a cigarette butt was extinguished using a hosereel jet with a thermal imaging camera also used to check for hot spots.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
