A TEENAGER was seriously injured after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
The 17-year-old was taken to hospital after the crash on Valley Way in Droitwich.
A man, aged 19, has been arrested and released on bail for suspicion of dangerous driving.
West Mercia Police said they are appealing for witnesses following the crash to help with their investigation.
The crash involved a Vauxhall Corsa hitting a pedestrian and happened at 3.45pm on Saturday (August 24).
A spokesperson said: "An investigation has been launched into the incident, and officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact DC Iran Quyyum by emailing iran.quyyum@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident number 280i of August 24, 2024.
"Alternatively, if you do not feel comfortable speaking with the police, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website."
