A MAJOR Worcester road is set to close for four nights.
The A449 between Lower Wick Roundabout and Powick Roundabout will close overnight tonight (Tuesday) until Friday (August 30).
The closure will allow Worcestershire County Council Highways to install milestone bollards to protect the footway or cycleway.
Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained during the works.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council Highways said:" The A449 between Lower Wick Roundabout and Powick Roundabout, Worcester, closed overnight tonight (7.30pm to 6am) plus Wednesday/ Thursday and Friday night, for installation of milestone bollards to protect footway or cycleway users."
