Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club hosted the day, which was packed with activities such as a bouncy castle, games, face painting, cake decorating, arts and crafts and a sensory room.

Cllr Steve Mackay, Worcestershire County Council’s cabinet member with responsibility for children and families, said: "It was brilliant to get invited along to the fun day this year and see our children and young people having fun and joining in with all the activities on offer.

"We had some lovely feedback from our guests with children going away with smiley faces and telling us they had enjoyed the day.

"It was a nice opportunity for foster carers to get together too and enjoy a cup of tea and well-deserved rest while the children played."

System C, the council's social care system provider, sponsored the event.
