GOOD Samaritans can now earn free time on Beryl bikes through the new 'Beryl bonus' scheme.

Residents can earn use of the service by finding any dumped bikes around the city and returning them to their nearest bays.

Bikes left out of bays will be marked with a star on the Beryl app. 

Users who find one of these bikes and end their journey at a marked bay will receive five minutes of free credit the next time they use a bike.

Beryl will continue their £10 fine for anyone who does not return their bike to a bay.
