AS SUMMER comes to an end, you might want a top up on your tan.
Beautifully Bronze, a new tanning salon, opened on The Tything in June and has become a popular spot in the city.
Co-owners Colleen and Nick Williams, from Droitwich, opened the salon in June.
"Business has been steady so far, but we'd love for it to be busier," Mr Williams said.
"Colleen has always been into sunbeds so we wanted to bring the ability to tan using good facilities in Worcester.
"We're in a good location here in the city centre."
The building was most recently Wags of Worcester, a dog groomer, which closed down earlier this year.
Before that, it was a nail salon.
One of the most important aspects of the tanning salon is its commitment to accessibility, as Mrs Williams explains.
She said: "We've got quite a few clients who are disabled and may need help with using the tanning beds.
"We chose the stand-up booths for when we first opened because some people struggle to get into the flat beds.
"We're dog and child-friendly, so people can bring their dogs or kids and we will help look after them while they have some alone time.
"We try to help our customers in any way we can."
The salon consists of three standing tanning booths which cost over £5,000 each.
This hasn't stopped Beautifully Bronze from their target: "We are trying to offer a quality service at an affordable price.
Despite opening just three months ago, the pair are already looking towards the business' future.
Mr Williams said: "We're looking to expand the business here on The Tything.
"We own the property next store as well so we are going to expand from the standing sunbeds we currently have to add lie-down beds as well.
"We hope to do that relatively soon."
Mrs Williams added: "We'd also like to get a spray tan machine."
Beautifully Bronze is open 9am to 8pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-6pm Friday and 10am-6pm Saturday.
