This will be a familiar building to many city residents in a prominent position along the road that connects the centre and the south-east of Worcester.
It has filled a variety of roles over the years.
But it may perhaps be best known as a pub having once been the Little Sauce Factory run by the well-known Mad O’Rourkes brand.
In fact since being built in probably the 19th century the pub changed names on many occasions, including London Vaults, Ale & Porter Stores and Fort Royal.
By 2008 it had become a restaurant, brasserie and tapas bar known as The Sauce Factory.

The former Little Sauce Factory pub next to Fort Royal Park is now vacant.
The Sauce Factory restaurant shut in July 2008 and by 2009 it had become Pete’s Indian Restaurant.
Then a change of use saw it become The Carpet Factory by 2014, selling carpets, vinyls and laminates.
This lasted until around 2016.
In 2023 Worcester city councillors said the building looked “awful”.
There have been long-running plans from the owner to turn it into flats.
