A CITY centre road was closed following a two-car crash as one witness described the scene as 'chaos'.
Emergency services closed Deansway in Worcester last night after a crash opposite Empire Barbers.
An ambulance and a fire engine were pictured at the scene of the incident. Crowds gathered on Deansway to watch the aftermath of the incident.
An eyewitness on the scene said they saw a person in a black hoodie running from the scene.
They said: "There is chaos in Cathedral Square.
"The crash is on the junction.
"Police are now blocking the road.
"One of the drivers in a black hood made a run for it."
The incident took place at 7.37pm yesterday evening (Saturday).
We have approached West Mercia Police, the West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service for a comment.
