Two people fled the scene after a two-car crash which closed a city centre road near Worcester Cathedral.
West Mercia Police said two people in one of the cars fled the scene after the crash in Deansway on Saturday evening (September 7).
Eyewitnesses said it was "chaos".
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a two-vehicle collision on Deansway shortly before 7.40pm on Saturday evening.
"Nobody was seriously injured and no arrests were made.
"The occupants of one of the vehicles fled the scene. Enquiries are ongoing."
One ambulance and a specialist paramedic attended the scene. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival we discovered one patient, who was assessed and discharged at the scene."
One eyewitness, who didn't wish to be named, said: "There is chaos in Cathedral Square.
"The crash is on the junction.
"Police are now blocking the road.
"One of the drivers in a black hood made a run for it."
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the scene to ensure both vehicles involved were safe, and confirmed no one was trapped during the incident.
