A PENSIONER had to be rescued after she was stuck in a lift for almost an hour in Worcester.
The woman, in her 80s, found herself stuck in a lift in a building on Southdown Road yesterday morning (Monday, September 9).
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 11:57am to help the woman.
The pensioner was rescued from a second floor lift by the crew.
No other emergency services were required. and at 12.27pm the incident was marked as pending closure.
