Worcester News readers have been looking back at their favourite spots in the city to hang out.

From parks to lively clubs, the residents commented on the Worcester News Facebook about their favourite locations across Worcester from when they were teenagers.

Several cited open spaces as their go-to, with Mark Chadwick listing places such as Perry Wood, County Hall, Barbourne Park, among others.

He also recalled played "British bull dog at Ronkswood Church", before adding that he also frequented "Lychgate Shopping Centre, South Quay at the fountains, Pitchcroft, Cripplegate Park and anywhere by the river".

Lee Mullen recalls spending time at the "Warndon BMX track", while Joanne Brooke-Wallis was often at "Brickfields Park", recalling them as the "best days".

Wend Spittle wrote: "(I liked) Perdiswell Youth Club when it was a black hanger.

"(I also enjoyed) the Barn Monday nights, the park at Green lane and The Bumps which is now St Barnabas school and The Green Room".

Lisa Ventura fondly remembered The Brewery Tap, saying: "I used to love watching all the live rock and metal bands there like The Jolly Roger Blues Band, The Zero Option, The Section, The Adrenaline Section and Marc Hammond, who is still in Worcester and still play gigs.

"Those were the days."

Ben Sanders listed off a few places he frequented most, commenting: "Tech college, Worcester ramps, Perdiswell skatepark, The Void and fountains."

Kier Price added: "I used to go a place we'd call The Void, upstairs at The Crown.

"Weird place, like someone's flat but with a bar and a band in the room with a mad moshpit.

Clubs also had a profound hold on Worcester residents, with Veronica Raybould harking back to "Tramps Night club in the 80s".
