A PERSON involved in a three-car crash has been taken to nearby Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Police were called just after midday today (Sunday, September 15) following the smash at the roundabout between the B4638 Woodgreen Drive and the B4636 Newtown Road.
Traffic was at a standstill on both roads following the incident.
West Mercia Police, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service were all called to the scene.
A road closure was put in place, preventing people using the road to get into Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The three drivers were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We were called to the incident at around 12pm.
"The incident was a three-vehicle collision, and a road closure was put in place.
"One person was taken to hospital as a precaution.
"The road has since been cleared and is open again."
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: "The crash on Woodgreen Drive involved three vehicles.
"Fire crews attended to make sure all the vehicles were safe.
"Paramedics were in attendance and the drivers were left in their care while an assessment was carried out on them."
