A RARE amber weather warning has been issued by The Met Office following three days of heavy rain.
The warning covers a vast swathe of the Midlands and is in place from 5am to 9pm tomorrow (September 23).
It comes after three back-to-back days of slightly less dangerous yellow weather warnings which indicate "heavy rain" and resulted in flooding across the region and multiple road closures including on the A449 near Worcester.
The Met Office said that heavy rain is expected to produce some flooding and travel disruption including road closures.
