A WOMAN who was on the railway bridge over the River Severn was brought to safety by emergency services.
British Transport Police were called to the area of the line in Worcester at around 10.15am yesterday (Sunday, September 22) following reports of the woman in a precarious position.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford and Worcester Fire ands Rescue Service were also called to the scene.
Witnesses said they saw emergency services at Croft Road Car Park.
The woman was taken to a place of safety.
Two paramedic officers, an ambulance and HART paramedics attended the scene along with emergency service colleagues.
The woman received care from ambulance staff before being taken to Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.
