A MAN was taken to hospital after collapsing in Worcester's High Street.
The man collapsed outside Poundland on Sunday (September 22) and was put into the recovery position by bystanders according to a witness.
Once the ambulance arrived, the man, who was suffering from a medical emergency was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called at 2.02pm to reports of a medical emergency on High Street, Worcester.
"An ambulance attended and treated a man at the scene before he was conveyed to Worcestershire Royal for further checks."
