A Droitwich nursery has celebrated its first year in operation.

Happy Days Nursery and Pre-School marked the occasion with a special event attended by Mayor Kate Fellows, staff, and children.

The nursery, located in Yew Tree Village, opened in September 2023, aims to provide "neutral and calming environments" to enhance children's play and learning.

The nursery's manager, Ashley Webb, was recognised for her efforts with a certificate and flowers for becoming a finalist in the Nursery Management Today Awards 2024.

The nursery also expressed gratitude to Mayor Fellows for attending the celebration and The Wedding House for supplying a balloon arch.

The nursery said it is looking forward to continuing its mission of nurturing children to become lifelong learners as it starts its second year.
