AN MG driver has been disqualified after he was caught breaking the speed limit on the M5 motorway.

Douglas Cheung, of Hanbury Road, Bristol, was caught driving an MG above the posted speed limit of 50mph on the M5 by junction 8 southbound on May 19, 2024.

His case was heard at Worcester Crown Court on February 21.

The 65-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence and received three points for the offence, causing him to reach the threshold for a six-month disqualification.

He was also fined £85 and ordered to pay £90 in costs and £34 surcharge to the Crown Prosecution Service.
