FIREFIGHTERS have rushed to a city home following a leak from a cracked water pipe. 

The incident happened at a house in Birch Meadow on Tuesday (July 29) after the leak flooded the property's internal electrics.

A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 11.26pm on July 29 to flooding of internal electrics at a house in Birch Meadow, Worcester.

"A leak was caused by a cracked water pipe.

"Electrics to a boiler were isolated and advice given."
