The Worcestershire Walking Football League has secured a new official sponsor for the current season.
WWFL has partnered with Cocky Anchor, a micro pub in Worcester, in a deal that will fund events, tournaments, equipment, and awards throughout the season.
As a popular watering hole with the league's committee and local teams, Cocky Anchor’s support will enable WWFL to expand its reach.
League chairman Tim Evans said: "We are thrilled to welcome Cocky Anchor, Worcester as our official sponsor.
"Their commitment to supporting the league perfectly aligns with our profile and player base.
"We look forward to a successful partnership that will bring lasting benefits to both organisations, teams, and players."
As part of the sponsorship, the league will be renamed the Cocky Anchor, Worcester WWFL.
The Cocky Anchor brand will feature across all league communications and matchday events, with the pub also taking part in league and committee activities.

The league targets players over 50, and women over 40, promoting walking football as a way to stay active, improve mental health, and build social connections.
It aims to foster a friendly, inclusive atmosphere where enjoyment and competition go hand in hand.
Clubs involved in the league include Worcester City FC, Worcester Amblers, Evesham United FC, Hindlip WFC, Droitwich Vets FC, Alcester Town FC, Hartshill Strollers, Solihull Moors, South Birmingham Galacticos, and Bishops Cleeve FC.
The 2025/26 season will run from September to June, with matches held three Sundays per month.
Fixtures will be played at Claines Lane in Worcester, Evesham FC, and Sixways.
Post-match gatherings and social events are also being planned to strengthen the community spirit of the league.
The Cocky Anchor, based at 61 Broad Street in Worcester, is housed in a restored building dating back to around 1740.
The venue features a cosy snug, a conference room, and a rooftop VIP area with panoramic views of Worcester.
It said its support for the league reflects its commitment to community engagement and promoting health and wellbeing.
The WWFL hopes the partnership will boost participation and help walking football continue to grow across the county and beyond.
