A MAN has appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court accused of a violent attack on a man and damaging his car.

Jonathan Shaw, of Moat Crescent, Malvern, appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Friday (November 14) accused of grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage.

It is alleged that on November 15 last year, in Powick, Shaw caused grievous bodily harm to Connor Thomas-Webb with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

On the same day, the 35-year-old is also accused of damaging a car window belonging to Mr Thomas-Webb intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Shaw spoke only to confirm his personal details to magistrates and did not enter a plea to the charges during the hearing.

Magistrates sent the case to Worcester Crown Court where it will be heard on December 18.

Shaw was granted unconditional bail.
