A festive foodie tradition is returning to help raise money for charity.

The Worcestershire Foodies Guide Advent Calendar is back for its fourth year and will run from December 1 to New Year's Eve, supporting Worcester Foodbank and Maggs.

Last year, the campaign raised more than £3,000 for the charities and the organisers hope to achieve this again.

More than 60 Worcestershire businesses are taking part this year.

For full details on how to get involved, people can tune in to the Worcestershire Foodies Guide Facebook Group at 8am on December 1.

Aimée Sealey, who is behind the group, said: "Four years on and it’s almost become a tradition, whenever we announce the calendar it’s received so well and to hear everyone’s excitement makes all the time and effort worth it.

"Not only do WFG members win prizes from fantastic local businesses, we also raise money for two fabulous local charities too.

"We couldn't be more thankful to both the businesses who have donated all the fabulous prizes and everyone who is playing along."
