COCAINE has been discovered in a car stopped in a supermarket car park.

The drugs were found in a car parked in the car park of Waitrose in Droitwich.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday (December 14) afternoon, officers stopped a vehicle in the car park of Waitrose in Droitwich.

"During the search of the car, a quantity of cocaine was found.

"A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

"He is currently on bail."
