A new rollercoaster is coming to Alton Towers and it promises plenty of mischief and giggles.
The resort has released an image of Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! which will open in Spring in CBeebies Land.
It the world’s first rollercoaster themed around the Emmy-Award-winning children’s show Bluey.
The ride will feature beloved characters Bluey and her younger sister Bingo dressed as their mischievous granny alter-egos, Janet and Rita.
In addition to the new coaster, Alton Towers has announced more Bluey-themed hotel rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel.
Howard Ebison, vice president of Alton Towers Resort, said: "We can’t wait to welcome the mischievous and limitless energy of the Grannies to the resort when we open the Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! this spring.
"Alongside even more bespoke Bluey-themed hotel rooms, we’re excited for the fans to enjoy the new attraction and immerse themselves in the mayhem of the Grannies."
The grannies are known for their silly dancing, chaotic driving, and playful troublemaking—especially their attempts at 'flossing' and other mischievous antics.
The ride expands CBeebies Land’s Bluey experiences, which already include meet-and-greets with Mum (Chilli), Dad (Bandit), Bluey and Bingo, and a live stage show within Big Fun Showtime.
Natasha Spence, events director of live entertainment at BBC Studios, said: "We know that whenever the Grannies come out to play, it is a fan-favourite moment for those that love the show.
"We are excited that the energy of these much-loved characters is being brought to life in Bluey’s first-ever coaster at Alton Towers Resort – home to CBeebies Land."
