Worcester’s art scene is bursting with creativity this March, with a range of exhibitions and events taking place across the city.

From new gallery showcases to charity art sales, venues including Artery Studios, Bar Limón, Aetheria Gallery and Bevere Gallery are opening their doors to celebrate local artists and fresh talent.

Artery Studios is hosting the annual Worcester 100 Art Exhibition, an event showcasing the talents of the city's creative community until March 21.

This year's show, supported by The Arts Society Worcester, features a wide variety of art forms including paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and more.

All artists, from beginners to professionals, could enter their work and the first 100 entries were accepted for the exhibition.

In Malvern, Bar Limón in Church Street is hosting In Her Time, showcasing women artists from both Malvern and Worcester in celebration of International Women's Day.

The exhibition, which continues until March 31, expresses women’s voices across generations and features 38 artworks by 23 artists. The event has been organised by ENNÈ Visual Arts, aka Nakisha, a contemporary urban neo-expressionist painter.

There are two pieces of special interest: Faith and Fury by Moira Savage and a self-portrait by 11-year-old Tilly.

Moira's artwork, an expression of her own journey navigating breast cancer, is available to purchase via a private donation directly to Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.

Similarly, Tilly shared how her self-portrait reflects more than just her outer appearance, capturing the internal feelings she experiences.

Malvern is also home to the Aetheria Gallery & Studio, which is hosting a new exhibition titled Soft Renewal, celebrating the spring season, capturing the gentle energy of nature coming alive.

The gallery owner, Alison Simons, who is also the artist in residence, draws inspiration from her childhood love of nature and fantasy.

Her work features dragons, the phoenix, fairies, otherworldly landscapes, ocean scenes, flora and fauna, and her beloved Malvern Hills.

The Bevere Gallery in Worcester is giving art lovers one more chance to enter their charity draw.

It offers a chance to win one of seven original artworks donated by resident artists and the ceramics gallery.

The draw is set to take place on March 28 at 2pm.

The procedure is straightforward: visitors are to check out the Bevere Gallery site up to and including the deadline, see what's on offer, and make a donation to one or both of Acorns Children’s Hospice and Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.

Donors will then receive a draw ticket and a reminder card for the draw date.

Bevere Gallery at Bevere Lane, Worcester WR3 7RQ, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
